PAUL LAKE is a poet, novelist and professor of English and creative writing at Arkansas Tech. He has published two books of poems, Another Kind of Travel and Walking Backward, and one novel, Among the Immortals. His poems and essays have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies, including The New Republic, The American Scholar, Paris Review, Partisan Review, Yale Review, Southern Review and Sewanee Review. He currently serves as the poetry editor for First Things. He lives in Russellville, Arkansas, with his wife and two children.
